NCh 2979 Hazardous Substances - Segregation and packaging in land transport.
This rule establishes provisions relating to segregation, the packaging and tanks of hazardous substances in ground transportation operations.
This rule does not establish regulations related to the construction and testing of packagings, intermediate bulk containers (IBCs), large packagings portable tanks and containers of gas of multiple elements (CGEM), while there is not a Chilean norm addressing this issue, it must be considered Chapter 6 of the in force Recommendations Related to the Transportation of Dangerous Goods, by the United Nations.
