Legislative Decree No. 725 Sanitary Code
The Health Code governs everything related to the promotion, protection and recovery of health of the inhabitants of the Republic, except those subject to other laws.
It concerns to the National Health Service, without prejudice to the powers of the Ministry of Public Health, addressing all matters pertaining to public health and hygienic welfare of the country, in accordance with the provisions of the final paragraph of Article No. 14 No.10 of the Political Constitution of the State, this Code and its Organic Law.
